Last year I recorded my reading of one of my favourite Lovecraftian stories, the Cats of Ulthar. Maybe you’ve used it in your classroom, but in case you haven’t, I’ve decided to tie up loose ends and make a simple lesson plan.
And we’re done with New Year Resolutions! This February brings a lot of interesting courses, some offered by the universities and organisations, others by individuals who want to share their knowledge.

2020 has been an interesting year, right?
Well, I have some ideas that will make your end-of-year classes fun!
The older I am, the more I like winter break – but what I really enjoy is the mixture of various traditions and customs. Today I want to take you to Finland and enjoy a nice Christmas-based, but not Christmas-style lesson.
If you crave some social contact (who doesn’t?),free online courses may be a great idea to consider… especially when you try to learn a completely new language! That’s right, I think this December we should take up this challenge – it will make us understand our students better, make new friends and perhaps add something new to our New Year resolutions?
