I decided to share my ideas on creative use of various simple materials you usually have at hand, as that's how you can easily come up with an extra activity without carrying tons of materials. Last month I wrote about some simple ideas on using toilet paper, and today I want to share my ideas on using a casual, everyday scarf to bring in some extra fun to your classroom.

Let's Roll... Toilet Paper in the Classroom
I used to bring a lot of extra materials to the classroom but after some time I got tired with carrying all this stuff. That's when I decided to use everything I can get on site - but use these objects creatively. I want to share some simple ideas on using toilet paper.

Let's Talk: What the Heck Happened? (review)
I don't usually buy extra teaching tools, but once in a while my willpower proves to be particularly weak. Of course, it requires something extraordinary, but when I saw conversation cards created by Ewa Torebko, I simply knew I would love them. And, of course, I do - that's why I want to share some ideas on how to use them in your classroom.

Spring energisers (+ free worksheet)
There are people who are oh! so energetic when they feel spring - well, that's not me! I'm a kind of person who definitely needs some good energisers to start the day - so today I want to share some ideas for physical energisers you can use both in-class and online... and not only with younger students!

Let's travel with Google Earth!
Google Earth is 20 years old this June! Have you checked it recently? If not, you should give it a go, because it has pretty much changed over those two decades and now it offers not only better views, but also nice educational options for all age groups. As always, I want to share my favourite features.

Last Minute Ideas for St. Patrick's Day
Tomorrow is St. Paddy's Day, the day pretty much everyone tries to be Irish! I found some interesting and easy-to-use resources you can share with your students without previous planning - just to have fun and inspire a short discussion.

January resolutions, December result (edited for 2022)
I'm not a fan of New Year Resolutions… that's why I made a simple tool that will help you introduce the resolutions in your classroom :) It's a simple worksheet that will make your students assess their level, think about their plans for 2021… and look at them back in December!

3 Simple Activities with Post-It Notes
I think post-it notes make a really nice teaching tool. They’re small, easy to carry around, and you can use them with students on various levels. Here are my favourite simple, creative and of course no-prep ideas.

Grammar up your classes! (book review)
The way I can explain my attitude to English grammar is love-hate relationship. One of the books that helped me enormously was Uncovering Grammar by the amazing Scott Thornbury. I read it years ago, and I’ve just finished rereading it to see how many things I implemented and how much useful it could be to an average EFL teacher.

I’m a superhero: no-prep lesson plan
I love superheroes – who doesn’t? I also love lesson plans that need no preparation. And today I want to share a simple lesson plan that is easy to adapt for both online and offline classes, for kids, teens and adults... because, after all, we all want to be superheroes!
Or supervillains, but that would be me.
