What's better to start a lesson than a good warm-up activity? I want to share some ideas on why warm-ups are essential. I also want to share some simple and no-prep warm-ups to practise vocabulary, grammar and communication skills.

Storytelling for a Change: Stereotypes are Silly! (no-prep lesson plan)
I have never shied away from the potentially controversial issues and somehow my students - children, teen and adults alike - have never disappointed me.
If you feel confident enough to teach a nice and funny class about social roles - feel free to use my lesson plan!

Make your writing activities epic! (3 no-prep ideas + bonus)
I love creative writing - it's a brilliant way not only to unlock your students' creativity, but also assess their real language.
I want to share my favourite no-prep ideas you can use with your classroom... and I also have something extra: a Spotify playlist full of epic music!

Creativity is key! (book review)
As Alan Maley says, I passionately believe creativity to be central to learning, including language learning. When I saw his 50 Creative Activities published by CUP, I knew I had to take a look at the book.

Are we really creative?
Being creative is the key to opening, unblocking someone else's creativity - but I'm not really sure that being a "creative teacher" is enough, I'd say that being a creative human being is more important here. I believe we, teachers, should not only bring creative classroom activities, we should focus on unblocking this aspect in our students' mindsets.
