If you crave some social contact (who doesn’t?),free online courses may be a great idea to consider… especially when you try to learn a completely new language! That’s right, I think this December we should take up this challenge – it will make us understand our students better, make new friends and perhaps add something new to our New Year resolutions? To make this easier for you, I’ve already picked a traditional set of seven free online courses!

The way I can explain my attitude to English grammar is love-hate relationship. One of the books that helped me enormously was Uncovering Grammar by the amazing Scott Thornbury. I read it years ago, and I’ve just finished rereading it to see how many things I implemented and how much useful it could be to an average EFL teacher.

With the weather getting nicer with every day, it's more and more difficult to stay in. I generally love staying home, but even for me there's a limit to delicious tea, good books and cosy blankets. I feel like I need something extra to keep me at home, and fortunately there's Netflix!
