How's your January? Are you ready to rock your classes, feeling creative and adventurous? If this is not the case and you might use some extra help, I have some simple lesson plans you can use whenever you want - especially now, at the beginning of the new year.

The One Thing You Should Do in 2023
There are probably many things on your To Do In 2023 list already, however I don't think you have thought about the thing I write. In fact, this is something we usually don't focus on - I mean, if we have it, it's cool, and if we don't have it, we don't even think about it. And we really, really should, especially if we teach!

We Wish You a Merry... what exactly? (no-prep lesson plan)
Do you sometimes wonder what's the best phrase for the winter holidays? After all, not everyone celebrates Christmas, so maybe you should say Happy Holidays?
Well, I think it's best if you ask your students! That's why I prepared a short and simple no-prep lesson plan!

How to Stay Warm in the Classroom? (5 minute lesson plan)
The question itself makes a lot of sense, but alas I cannot help you... although I know who can! Watch the video to check a short and no-prep lesson plan that will help your students not only use English but also develop their problem solving skills.

7 Free Online Courses in November
Long, hopefully rainy evenings are just made to stay in and enjoy the coziness of warm blanket, cup of one's favourite beverage... and a nice online course. Seriously, now's the great time to think about professional development - you're quite familiar with your students and the most problematic issues have already emerged.

Oh No! It's a Mistake!
There are so many wrong things about the mistakes, like: judging others, feeling ashamed, stressed or frustrated - but we can change this!
I won't tell you the ultimate trick to stop making mistakes, but I can share three simple activities that will help your students overcome their anxieties. Because mistakes are awesome - and so are we!

7 Free Online Courses in October
Somehow October makes us less likely to enjoy the evening strolls, but on the other hand the idea of cosy evenings at home is far more alluring. That's why I found some interesting - and short - courses you may enjoy this month. You will find something about inclusivity, creativity, and using interesting tools (like video games!) in your classroom.

Google Scholar in the Classroom: More than Academic English
We can believe our students are digital natives and know everything about the internet, but it isn't so - studies show young people are basically pushed into the ocean of the internet without learning the basic swimming moves.
That's why I want to share with you a tool that made the life of my teenage students much easier.

Resilience: 3 Tips for Teachers
Let's make this school year a Year of Resilience! But while we try to support and encourage resilience in our students, we should also remember about ourselves - you know the plane procedure with oxygen masks, right?
I've got three tips for achieving resilience that work pretty well for me, that's why I thought I could share them.

Classroom Organisers by Students: no-prep lesson plan
Classrooms can be pretty chaotic - after all there are heated discussions, engaging projects, glitter, teaching tools, posters, copies, long-lost books...
But why not make your students come up with some useful ideas? It's a simple lesson plan, but it makes your students not only work on their language, but also practise their creativity, teamwork and out-of-the-box thinking.
